In "Vision Map", part of the Catching Luck series, the chaotic black mesh pulls back to reveal saturated colors—symbols of dreams and potential. I spent a week creating this piece entirely "blind," working through permeable layers, effectively forgetting and letting go of control over where light would break through or where darkness would hold. This visual experiment sparked a hypothesis that feels almost Freudian: perhaps simply seeing a possibility changes reality. If Freud believed that bringing the cause of an illness to consciousness leads to a cure, then maybe recognizing that chances existthose bright - zones in the painting - is the first step toward making a dream real.
